Trainings and Events
- Join the Redistricting Data Hub for a racially polarized voting (RPV) training on Tuesday, November 16 at 1-2pm EST. This is the first of three planned RPV trainings. We are partnering with Fred McBride of the Lawyers Committee to offer this first training with background information about Racially Polarized Voting and legally significant cases. Fred McBride is the Redistricting and Voting Rights Policy Specialist at the Lawyers Committee and has been active in voting rights for nearly 20 years. He is an expert in drawing and evaluating redistricting plans and performing racially polarized voting analysis. This first training in the series is great for folks who may not know much about the Voting Rights Act or racially polarized voting and to learn directly from an expert active in the field.
